OUR STORY

The Crown is a quintessential British stone pub, in the idyllic village of Cerney Wick, set a little away from the Cotswold Water Park. Tucked between the village and the canal with beautiful large gardens, the pub has always been a jewel in the Village.

In 1928, the Crown, was purchased by Cirencester Brewery then later associated with Courage Brewery but now stands free of a tie. In October of 2021, Relish took over the running of the Food and Beverage service. They carried out a full refurbishment on the establishment and re-opened doors to customers later than month. Loved by locals and visitors alike, the gastopub style menu went down a storm.

At the start of 2023, it was decided there was time for a change - Introducing a new Anglo-Indian Fusion style of cuisine, from an Asha Indian Kitchen Pop-Up. This 3-month pop-up offers British and Indian fusion dishes in a variety of small plates, burgers, flatbreads, bowls and more. This is the start of new ventures at the crown.
